It’s Giveaway Day at SewMamaSew, and I’m glad to be participating this round! I’ll be giving away this bag I made:
I wanted to make something unique, and hopefully I succeeded without being too weird… 🙂 I patterned this bag after Rae’s awesome Buttercup Bag. I drew my own pattern, based on her design, and I made six pleats in the main bag that all fold toward the center. I, obviously, made it much bigger than Rae’s, because, most of the time, I need a bigger bag. I made one for myself, using different fabrics, several months ago, and you can see pictures of it here. I made mine, originally, with the idea that I needed to haul diapers and wipes around but did not want a “diaper bag.” You may have other reasons for wanting a big bag. And, since I love pockets and I know that everyone else does too, I added plenty of pocket space.
If you like this bag and would like to win it, please leave a comment about this post. (Sorry, no international winners.) I will be choosing a winner using a random number generator. This giveaway will be open until May 25th. Please leave your email address in the comment so that I can contact you if you win. If I am unable to reach the winner, I will choose another winner.
Giveaway days at SewMamaSew are so fun. I’ve enjoyed “getting to know” so many others in the sewing community, finding new blogs and shops and tutorials to try, etc. And I’ve won three times, which is great too! If you didn’t get here from www.sewmamasew.com, be sure to jump over there from May 23rd-May 25th to check out all the other blogs and enter to win lots of great stuff!
